DR. BASIL ALQUDWA
Dr. Basil AlQudwa strengths are manifested in his dynamic organizational style that specializes in equity analysis, portfolio management, economics/ corporate strategy and leadership. In the last decade, Dr. AlQudwa devoted much of his time to research and studies. He has written numerous papers on the subject of Islamic Economics Philosophy and its application. In 2014, he began lecturing at Guidance College for graduate studies in Islamic Finance. More than 50 lectures have been given on the topics of Islamic Economics and the Islamic Financial Model. He is currently working on general Islamic Economics Theory, dealing with matters of infrastructure development, environmental factors, wealth, distribution, poverty, wages, taxes, real value, and government role.

Since 1991, he participated in industry campaigns to increase awareness on the lack of discipline in risk management strategy
In 2000, as an equity analyst with the industry, he conducted microanalysis on many investment instruments and products from the perspective of risk analysis and real value. As a result of this analysis, none of his directly supervised investments suffered losses in the 2001 or 2008 crashes.
In 2006, Dr. AlQudwa joined Saturna Capital as a senior member of the investment committee. This committee has earned four and five star ratings by Morningstar rating agency for their style of Islamic value management; particularly their risk management discipline and performance.
He is affiliated with the American Management Association, American Decision Analysis Advisory Group (DAAG), American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and the Dallas Council on World Affairs
Today, he is working as a consultant on multiple private trust and foundation accounts while serving as the Director of the Islamic Finance department for AlHuda University, teaching and consulting on a variety of projects, involving qualitative and quantitative analysis to achieve acquisitions, restructurings, and strategic realignments within large communities
