DR. SHAKIR ULLAH

A professor in the Master’s in Islamic Economic and Finance Program (MAEF), Dr. Shakir Ullah exemplifies the global experience that Guidance College professors provide to its students. Dr. Ullah has taught at the University of Southampton, United Kingdom, the Institute of Management Sciences, in Pakistan, been PhD Advisor at Georgetown University, Washington D.C, and a Dissertation Chair at the California Intercontinental University—just to name a few. In addition, Dr. Shakir has also worked as Global Business and Financial Analyst with Fortune 500 companies including Microsoft, Honda, MasterCard, Walt Disney and Jaguar.
Dr. Shakir earned his PhD in Corporate Governance from University of Southampton, UK and his MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from the Korea Development Institute (KDI) School of Public Policy and Management in Sejong, South Korea. Dr. Ullah’s publications are too numerous to mention but include articles in renown publications such as International Review of Business Research Papers and Journal of Financial Services Marketing.
