Dr. Dina Geumei

Adjunct Faculty

Dr. Dina started her career as a teacher assistant at the University of Alexandria. She taught management, logistics, human resources, and marketing for three years. After moving to the U.S. and receiving her MBA, she operated a computer business for seven years as an operational manager. Meanwhile, she volunteered at HQA, a private school to fulfill her passion for education. Impressed by her performance, she was hired as a Quran, Arabic, and Islamic studies teacher. She has taught for thirteen years, founded the Creative Arabic Teacher Society (CATS), and directed the monthly theme program at HQA. Currently she is an Arabic coordinator, mentor, and coach, leading multiple educational programs for HQA.

  • Led local Boy Scout troops as a Webelos leader and Assistant scoutmaster for eight years.

  • Led a multilevel Girl Scouts troop that continues to serve over 50 girls for four years.
  • Headed the WOW community mentorship program for a year.
  • Currently serving on the Faith-Based Initiatives Committee of the Girls Scouts of San Jacinto.
