DR. NOOR MOBEEN

Lead Professor for the MAIE Program

Dr. Noor Mobeen brings global experience to Guidance College. Dr. Noor’s impressive professional background from the corporate sector, non-profit, and higher education includes three higher education degrees from Texas A&M University, the University of Florida, and the University of Southern California. He continues to provide the 12th Man tradition of service in the United States and worldwide prestigious institutions such as NYU Abu Dhabi, University of Houston, King Saud University, Quaid-i-Azam University, University of Warsaw, Technical University of Munich, University of Nairobi, Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico and International University of Sarajevo, to name a few.

In addition, Dr. Noor has worked The Harris County Sheriff’s Office, MHMR Mental Health and Mental Retardation, St. Joseph Health Regional System, Academy Sport and Outdoor Corporate Office, Nakheel Holdings Companies, Police Department – City of College Station, FMC Technologies FMC Technology in the Gulf of Mexico, West Africa, South America along with Shell, Exxon Mobile, British Petroleum, Cargill, First Service Residential Service and U.S. Department of State.

Dr. Noor collaborated with numerous grassroots local non-profit organizations and uplifted hundreds of adolescents and young adults in the underserved areas of Texas to provide pathways to career success for high school students in underserved communities through skills training, meaningful work experiences, and impactful relationships. Dr. Noor helped hundreds of students with workforce commission/trade school and four-year college scholarship awards and opportunities to keep them on track and break the cycle of crime in low-income communities. Dr. Noor has started many youth initiatives programs, including entrepreneurship projects with local communities in the United States and post-conflict countries to uplift with the necessary skills and tools by introducing the American Education K-12 education system. The mission is to promote and access to STEM opportunities for youth achievement, creativity, and high-ability cutting-edge technology.

In addition, Dr. Noor has worked on many qualitative research publications and grant-writing projects. His research includes phenological studies, interviews, focus groups, and case studies. Current research projects include leadership, education, and communication. He has published on youth development, global education, leadership, cultural diversity and sensitivity, and entrepreneurship, and his work has appeared in leading educational journals, Harvard reviews, and numerous university press books.
