MAIE630 ARABIC GRAMMAR
Course Description:
This course focuses on Classical Arabic grammar and is specifically designed for those studying the Quranic language, making it an essential discipline for specialists in Islamic studies. The curriculum includes parts of speech, gender of nouns, numbers, pronouns, various verb tenses, sentence construction, and other relevant topics. Students will learn to identify and utilize different grammatical structures and will be introduced to essential vocabulary and expressions commonly found in the Quran. By the end of the course, students will have gained a comprehensive understanding of basic Arabic grammar, enabling them to enhance their interpretation of primary Islamic texts.

Learning Objectives:
- Students will be able to introduce students to the basics of Arabic Grammar.
- Students will be able to provide students with a foundation in simple functional grammatical patterns and the basics for sentence construction.
- Students will be able to familiarize students with the eloquent language of the Quran.

- Part of Speech.
- The Gender of Noun.
- Number of Nouns.
- Pronouns.
- Ia’rab (Identifying the position of each word in the sentence).
- Different Phrases; Adjective, relative, demonstrative, and genitive phrase.
- Nominal and verbal sentence.
- Regular and irregular verbs.
